Principal Malissa Hernandez leads the Palominos at Pink Elementary. Bringing 10 years of experience in education, Ms. Hernandez returns to familiar roots as a Rosenberg-area native who is honored to serve the community that helped shape her. She began her career as an emergent bilingual teacher and most recently served as an assistant principal and summer school principal. Ms. Hernandez holds a bachelor’s degree in business and earned her master’s degree in education from the University of Houston–Victoria. She is passionate about fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment, supporting strong instruction, and building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families at Pink Elementary.
